-Judge Nelson finally ordered the NFLPA* and NFL representatives back to mediation. This is a huge step because I don't believe the two sides would have made this move anytime soon without a third party getting involved. The thing to remember is that she can order the two sides to work on an agreement but she can not order them to agree. A lot has to be done on both sides but this is a good start to ensuring a sixteen game season.
-Da'Quan Bowers knee is getting a lot of attention and rightfully so. Some team doctors think that Bowers will be lucky to play out his rookie contract. Other teams have taken him off their boards all together. The knee will be a concern and it will cause him to slide but I still don't see Bowers making it out of the top 15.
-The Bears and Bucs will play a regular season game in London in what will be considered a Buccaneers home game. The full schedule should be released the week of the draft. Now all they have to do is figure out that labor thing.
-A report surfaced today stating the Jets have no interest in Randy Moss. Despite this, I still think Moss to the Jets makes a lot of sense. The Jets like big name veterans and have some key free agents at wide receiver. This also keeps Moss from going back to New England. I have a feeling Moss has at least one big season left in the tank. What better place to show it than New York?
-The Panthers seem to be leaning towards quarterback with the number one overall pick. They very well could go with another position but word around the league is, if it is quarterback, it is Cam Newton. Gabbert gained some momentum in the last few weeks but I don't think Carolina ever really considered Gabbert over Newton as an option.
-The best football entertainment you will get between now and the draft is Jon Gruden's Quarterback Camp. Check it out April 21st at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
-Go away Jenn Sterger.
